Compaq Presario 1505 US w/Windows XP notebook freezes
My Compaq Presario notebook randomly freezes, irrespective of connection to internet. I 've even re-installed the OS to see if there is a problem with it but no luck. Here are the specs of the notebook. Pentium 4 processor Microsoft Windows XP SP2 1.6 GHz 256 MB RAM I 've been battling this...- chakri3

Data file version control

CD-ROM drive not functional
My computer boots up fine but I am not able to use either of my cd drives. I have a HP pavillion xl754 pc which has 2 cd drives.One read-only & the other one write drive. I attempted to run some utilities which said the IDE CD-ROM devide driver is not installed. How can I find out what is wrong...- chakri3

Can some one help me find out why IE(I've version 5.5 & I run Windows ME OS)opens this web page automatically ? I 've a pop-up blocker that efficiently bocks many pop-ups but fails to block this one.This also seems to be installing some shortcuts to ONLINE CASINO sites etc.This started happening...- chakri3
