Outlook 2007 on WinXP Pro, new mail does not come in, have to click on a folder for new mail to appear in the inbox.
Weird issue, only occurs with one user on this machine. Logged in as me and problem not there.
Moved the users profile, created a new one and setup Oulook again, same problem...
I just upgraded to R2, but can't seeem to find the new snap-in to manage DFS and create namespaces...all I see in Administrative tools is the old snap-in. I've scoured the web, Microsoft's suggestion of going to Add/Remove Programs >> Windows Components and finding DFS on the list doesn't work...
I understand that the DFS Namespace feature allows you to build folder trees and add namespace targets underneath folders without targets. I have read this is available on Windows 2003 Server SP1, but then I've also read that it's only available in R2.
In 2003 Server SP1, I do not have the...
Here's my situation.
We currently have two 300GB SCSI320 drives (RAID 1) for our Graphics files. Typical files are around 200MB (30x42" posters, etc), and can get much larger very easily.
We also have five 74GB SCSI320 drives (RAID 5) for our architecture files. Lots of read/writes, but...

I have been able to deploy a scheduled task to my Windows 2003 SBS network using the AT command (from the server, logged in as Administrator).
However, the only way I could get it to work was to deploy the .vbs script to each computer (in a stashed diretory) and have the scheduled task run the...
We would like to use our Public Folders to hold archived email for users. We send alot of attachments, sometime the total becoming greater than 10 MB (graphics files).
How do I remove the set 10 MB limit for public folder posts? And if I can't, what is the next best solution to storing emails...
Very strange issue....just upgraded to Exchange SP2 a few weeks ago. A user sent an email to a hotmail address, and somehow it ended up in a local user's mailbox and did not make it to the recipient. I checked the sent mail on the user's computer, it shows she composed the email with the...
I have done alot of reading on time syncing in a Windows 2003 network, and I think I'm confused on all the jargon and different options.
I have one single Windows 2003 SBS server, with about 20-30 clients. I'd like to maintain the time on the SBS server, and have the clients sync with the...
A very strange problem indeed...I have a network with one Win2003 SBS Server, running DHCP and DNS. There are a few other servers on my network (Win2K Server), but none have been DCPROMOed.
DHCP is setup to provide scope option 006 - DNS Server names, and to provide 2 internal IP addresses...
I was reading the documentation from MS about Windows 2003 Small Business Server SP1. The docs ask you to install the Windows Server 2003 SP1 update, then the SBS 2003 SP1 update, then the Sharepoint SP1 update, then Exchange SP1.
Other documentation says that you only have to install SBS 2003...
I have a sort of simple question, hopefully I explain it correctly....in my Exchange 2003 queue, I see random emails from 'postmaster@mydomain.com' stuck in queue, they expire after a little while, but I'm not sure why they are there. They're addressed to different, random domains like...
Getting strange error messages, not sure what to check. DNS on the server is setup to forwarded requests to our ISPs DNS server.
The message we're getting is:
Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

Hi,
New, factory installed setup of Win2003 SBS. Somehow there is an SMTP Connector installed, I never configured it, and don't think I need to use it. We are running Exchange 2003 with 10 users, the only special thing we're doing is a few users VPN (via Routing Remote Access) and they run...
I've scoured the web for the answer...to no avail!
We can't send mail to one domain, the messages back up in queue. Exchange System Manager tells me "The specified network name is no longer available".
We can send to everyone else fine, and receive from this domain ok.
It's strange, at one...
Hi,
I've setup scripts to export data from the Event logs into a database...from here I'm analzying print activity on our network printers and manipulating the data...
I'm running into what I think might be a Windows issue. If you print a file from Notepad, let's say the file is...
I setup an FTP server through Windows 2000 IIS. I've set the root directory to be at the root of the E:\, with the Everyone permission set to Full Control on both NTFS and Sharing Permissions (only for testing). I removed the 'anonymous' access and am hopefully using Integrated Domain...
Hello,
Running Win2K Server as a domain controller. Added a Win2K Advanced Server, ran dcpromo and all was ok. Getting some replication errors on the secondary DC, so I removed AD from that secondary DC (did NOT check box that it's the last DC in the domain). After that, I cannot open AD...
