    Modem Reboots Computer....

    Dear All: I have a compaq 5050 that locks up completely or just reboots when the phone rings. I have updated firmware on both the PC and the modem to no avail. This piece of junk is almost 5 years old and obsolete, but it's all that I have.. Can anyone out there suggest something????? Mike
