Hi,
I have a Nortel CICS with 6 users. All the phones have speeddials to other DNs. When a call comes in and needs to be transferred to another user, the person receiving the call presses "Transfer" under the LCD, then the speeddial for another user's phone.
This worked like a charm until...
I'm running some Cat5e cabling in an industrial environment. Is it OK to zip-tie the Cat5e to EMT that has electrical wiring inside?
Also, how much will florescent and/or mercury vapor/metal halide lighting interfere with the signal in the data lines?
Thanks in advance!
Cousin of mine has an XP machine w/ two CD drives, one a CD-ROM, one a CD burner. When they try to transfer files from one CD drive to another, the computer crashes and reboots.
Bad drive, or is this an XP problem? Just trying to figure out if this is a hardware or software issue.
Thanks!

Hey all,
I'm the go-to techie for an office with about 8-10 users in a small office. They have about 5 XP boxes w/ seperate user profiles for each user on each computer. In NIS, it seems that when I change options (specifically, ad blocking options), even while logged in as 'Supervisor' in...
