    Lap top login problem

    Hi I have a laptop with NT4.0 and Windows 2000. When it was set up for me there was no password, this is a stand alone machine. I haven't used the machine for about a year and now cannot login. Any suggestions? As you can gather I am not a tekkie! Thanks a million

    Log on problem lap top

    Hi I have a lap top which I haven't used for ages. When I switch it on I get a page entitled Hardware profile/Configuration recovery menu When I select any item on the menu I get the log on screen but it refuses to accept my password. Can anyone help?! Cheers
