    I need to implement a linear trend function like the one in Excel that takes a known set of y-points and a known set of x-points and returns a linear trend of x-points. Does anyone know how to implement this in ActuateBasic?

    Can someone point out how I can take a known set of x-values and a known set of y-values and return a linear trend? Excel provides a TREND() function but I need to do this on a server-side object, preferably in VB.
