    imac won't boot from CD

    Hello, I tried to install os x on my imac... got partly through and decided that I needed to update os 9 first, so I stopped the process. Then I put the CD into the drive to boot from the CD to install os 9 and get the following error: bootr, unknown word failed to boot Can someone help...
