    Chat

    i connect to a telnet nix shell server running on linux fedora. is there a way to code a script so the users on the server logged in can talk 2 each other. Maybe a bash script or somthing that can be in all their home dirs that they can run?

    This is going to sound really stupid. A real newbie question. But how do i change the power saving on my shrike box? I know its like acpi.conf or summink in slackware, but what is it on redhat? lol, i'll be asking how to change the screensaver on my windows box next (j/k) Nocty

    Start Menu

    Is it possible on Redhat Linux to make the windows start key that shows the windows start menu when pressed in windows show the main menu in linux? (im not sure what you would call it, linux equivalent of a start menu, the button to the far left of the taskbar in GNOME)

    Multiple Document Interface

    This is probably a really stupid question but ive just never come across a situation where ive needed to do it before. Is it possible to create a MDI style form interface? Where the forms float around in a main window like Microsoft Access itself. Thanks NOCTY
