Hi:
I purchased an ML350 server on eBay and it arrived without the system feature board. The P/N of the server is 160247-003. I cannot for the life of me find out the P/N for the system feature board.
Can anyone lend me a hand? The HP web site wasn't much help.
Thanks.
Bruce.
Hi:
Very new to DB2, so please be gentle!
I am doing a proof of concept using Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services as the reporting engine for our DB2 databases.
While I am able to connect using iSeries Access for Windows and run reports just fine, I am unable to get the following to work...
Hi:
I am using Project Pro 2003.
I am using Task Custom Field "Number 4" to hold a number that ties the task in the Project Plan back to an internal database. It's working great for our purposes when displayed in the Gantt Chart view, etc.
I would like to also display this field and its data...
Hi:
Can the database files used by MS SQL Server 2000 reside on a Network Area Storage (NAS) Device? I would like to deploy SQL Server 2000 on a 1U server with just a RAID 1 pair of disks and have the database files reside on our NAS. I am playing with an eval copy of SQL Server on my desktop...
Just thought I would share what I learned today, in my moment of triumph!
I inherited a 650+ task project plan from a terminated project manager.
I was pulling my hair out trying to get the plan to reflect reality by adjusting task working dates and the linking of tasks. I would set the...
Hi:
I had created a project plan which used custom date fields in a formula for each task (an executive dashboard kind of thing with graphical indicators to show which tasks are started, not yet started, on schedule, over schedule, etc.). It was working just fine until I started adding...
Hi:
I have added several custom date fields to my project to help track dates within a task. All of the date fields initialize as "NA".
I want to use a formula that will see if a date has been entered in the custom date field, but I can't get past the "NA" entry in the...
Hi:
I need to create a report that uses a line graph to show the year to year variance (as a percentage) of number of sales using the first years numbers as the variance. In other words, years will be on the horizontal axis and the vertical axis will be percentage.
Here is a quick example...
Hi:
Has anyone been able to place the report output into the body of the email message sent out by CE? Here is what I want to do:
1. Using CE 9.0, schedule a report to run daily that looks for records that require attention by our external partners. These records will be identified by a...

Hi:
I am using IBM's Client Access Express to connect Crystal Reports via ODBC to our DB2 database on our AS/400. I can connect to the desired library, but it only displays the stored proceedures within the library, but no tables. If I use IBM's Operations Navigator, I can open the database...

Hi:
I am currently testing CE (I jumped on the free 5 user CE Pro offer. Very impressed!) and want to know if there is a way to display an hour glass or status bar in the browser to show that the report is being generated. I have several test reports that take about 30 seconds to generate...
Hi:
I am trying to create a report that initially presents a pie chart of summary data that would allow the user to drill into the various slices. Can't seem to do it with CR 9.0, although I did download a sample "World Sales.rpt" from Crystal's web site that does exactly what I am...
Hi:
Can Crystal Analysis use DB2 Cube Views as its datasource? We would like to use CA against our data in our DB2 databases but don't want to shell out the big bucks for OLAP Server for DB2.
Thanks.
