AWARD BIOS - Lockup - Freeze - Hangs - Which Settings cause it?
My new soyo K7VTA, AMD 750 TB, 128 MB 133 MHz DIMM, 3Dfx system was hanging (freezing / Locking) and I thought it was Windows 98 or some software or drivers. Apparently it was the AWARD BIOS Settings. I may have solved this problem. I had not used the BIOS Optimal Default Settings because...- waf2000

Video Acceleration causes hangs/freeze - HELP!
I just put in a new soyo K7VTA mobo with AMD 750 Thunderbird and 128 MB RAM. Been having hangs or lockups. After MUCH investigation, found I can stop the hangs by putting graphics hardware acceleration (in System performance folder) to "none". After that, no hangs or lockups...- waf2000
