Unexpected Excel Document Rename
Hi, One of my computers is renaming xls documents to what appears to be a hex code, without an extension. eg. renamed from FEB04.xls to 87633000 or 766d9910. It changes as soon as the document is closed. The computer is running windows 98, with office xp, and the server is windows 2k server...- albevo

Accessing Network Shares
Hi I have a strange & frustrating problem with my network (win 2k server sp4, users run 2000 or xp). Users can logon, get a valid ip address, and can ping the server. However they cannot access any shared drives on the network, nor any network printer. Then on 2 or 3 machines (out of 10)...- albevo
