    color is inaccurate when file is brought into Photoshop

    I use Illustrator 9 and Photoshop 7. When I need to save my images as hi res jpgs I take them into Photoshop and save them (as jpgs) at 150dpi or higher. The problem is, the color on the image is very washed-out when it is brought into Photoshop (adjusting curves can never make the colors true...
