I need to get artwork into Quark. You know, a logo type thing without a white background so it can be placed over coloured backgrounds. I've had a friend trace a logo for me but it has jaggy edges. Is there a good way to learn the correct protocols to do this (quickly) Any suggestions welcomed!
I am trying to place an advertisement from a PDF into a magazine I'm laying out. If I convert it to a TIFF, it comes out all fuzzy in the fonts. Should I just get rid of everything but the artwork and replace the fonts with Quark type (in other words - type in the text and fiddle it to look...
I've got QuarkXPress 3.32 and I've got a 100 - pages of footnotes to get from Word - do you have to do them by hand - does Quark 4 do it - import the footnotes and superscript - because right now it ain't looking good. Please would be grateful for any suggestions
