    jdbc performance

    We are trying to create java program to insert a table and update another at the same time. We are using web companion to access filemaker pro. Seems like it takes 22 seconds toinsert 1 transaction. We are using JDK 1.2 Can anyone help us and has anyone used JDBC to import data. Thanks very much
