Hi
I run a computer rental business, and we handle lots of different computers. Normally we fix most problems ourselves, but now we have encountered a windows LAN logon problem with IBM Thinkcentre PC:s. And we have several, so we need to get it fixed.
They are about two-three years old, and...
Hi all
We had some virus problem, an internet dialer called "delsim". After some work we managed to get rid of it, but after that we can´t send external mails. Incoming from outside senders works, and all internal mail works.
But nothing leaves the house.
We can also not connect to internet on...
Hi
One of my users has been away from office for a long while. During that time I somehow forwarded her email to three other recipients (or more likely, to a distribution list containing three other users). It worked fine.
Now the stray user is back, and I removed (?) all forwarding, but...
Hi
I have an HP NX7010 and an external flatscreen monitor.
How can I get the format right on the external monitor without changing the resolution settings?
It works fine on a Dell laptop - when I connect and switch over to the external monitor, it just pops over to 4:3 format.
But on the HP it...

I have this problem too with my w2k, 5.5 server.
Some domains don´t accept mail from us.
They say:
MSEXCH:IMS:Mifab:Mifab:EXCHANGE 3554 (000B09B6) 554 <kb@glocalnet.net>: Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied
We have no open relay...
Is it possible to import a text file e.g. public holidays into a public calendar in Outlook?
(Exchange server 5.5)
It´s easy to import it to a local private calendar.
But does it work in a public folder?

In Exchange 5.5 on W2K server we experience that OWA works just fine until "someone" does something "special", like typing the wrong password or user.
Maybe also when you log on with Outlook 2003 installed, but that is not confirmed.
After that OWA doesn´t work at all.
The login pages opens...
Hi
I have a HP Color 4500, which has worked fine for a long time. It´s a network printer that used to be connected to a NT server.
But now we changed to a new W2K server, and after that switch it doesn´t work properly.
I can´t make the settings stay. I have a duplex unit and the 500 sheets...
Hi
We just moved from ES 5.5, NT 4 to ES, W2k server.
(yes, we know there are newer releases)
We successfully moved all mailboxes but one.
The last one starts off just fine, but it ends unsuccessful.
Eventid 1151: A rule synchronization error (1144) has occurred. The private folder is...
Hi
I had this crash on a win xp Home computer.
It wouldn´t boot and i found that many people had had the same problem, so I read lots of posts in lots of forums.
Probably the disk is somewhat broken.
I could read the files when booting from floppy.
From the start I didn´t worry too much about...
Hi
I have this customer who bought this very cheap printer. We wanted to be nice to him because of bla bla bla..
Now he blames us for every problem he can find. We sorted most of it up but one thing remains.
(This time he has even written to the Swedish CEO of Microsoft for help. Probably very...
Hi
I am trying to register a new domain, and to do that I go to www.domaininfo.com, which normally works real fine, then I type the domain name I want, and hit the "search" button to see if it is still available.
But then IE6 says that: (translated from swedish)
"The mission didn´t complete...
Hi,
I´m pretty new to these matters and I feel worried about the message:
"The database has 1 megabytes of free space after online defragmentation has terminated."
(That is: "D:\exchsrvr\MDBDATA\PUB.EDB")
Does that mean that my database are choking and that I´m in very...
