Manually expiring tape images (not the actual tape).
Hello there, I am looking for a command to manually expire all tape images on a piece of media so that it may be re-used for a fresh backup. Is this the correct command to use? : bpexpdate -m <TapeNumber> -d 0 -host <MediaServer> -force If so, does it leave the media in it's original pool...- Gurnsy

Frequency based backups + tape retention
Apologies for the newbie question... We are running Netbackup 4.5 with calendar based scheduling. Our Monday-Thursday tapes have a retention of 12 days and are re-used every 2 weeks.
