    arcserve will not format a tape

    I have an office overseas where arcserve worked no problem until the local IT guy gots his hands on it. All media was named Daily but he now says it will not accept that he then tried to format the whole tape ( gods knows why ) and now it does nothing . Apart from a server re-boot is there...
