    help with moving files they corrupt

    hi dont no if this is the right form but here goes i have windows 98se with 2 hard drives when i move a exe file form one drive to the other it corrupts it, it does the same form the cd-rom.any ideas ? so far i have reformated changed memory and tested for virus any help please
