Help on a new suggestion for network design

We currently have a 2600 based router with a expansion module for T1 wics. All 4 slots are T1 wics with PTP T1's in them. Now my boss wants to add an additional 2600 and repeat the proceeds. IS there any other way to do this more efficiently?

    need help on router setup

we are running on 2600 with 4 PTP t1's now the are wanting me to expand another 2600 with another 4 PTP t1's. My suggestion was a WAN ETH based but the cost is to high for them now. What other options do you guys have rather than just stacking 2600 on top of each other?
