Yes we still use 3d faces and hide (we have two old plotters) I am having a problem with hide and the sand hatch pattern, or dots in general when hide is on they all disappear. any ideas?

USING THE TEXTMASK ROUTINE I HAVE A BASE DRAWING WITH 3D FACES IN IT, IN MY SHEETS WHERE THE BASE IS XREFFED THEY LIKE IN THE BASE APEAR GROUPED AND NOT VISIABLE, AS SOON AS I HIDE THE SHOW UP BUT ONLY IN THE SHEET WHERE XREFFED NOT IN THE BASE ANYONE HAD THIS PROBLEM ?? OR ANY SUGESTIONS.

I am trying in insert points on a surface and have the points maintain the surface elevations for staking, I am using autocad 2002, LDD civil design, map. If I need any aditional softwart to accoomplish this I will buy it so any sugestions would be great.
