as above... I am using BEB 10.5 SP1.
Getting the same results for all Windows Oracle Server.
When the database starts backup, I notice the speed is somewhere ard 40+/-MB/Min which is extremely slow.
Any ideas on what could be wrong?

I am facing some problems in backing up oracle control files.
It seems that the file is being locked by Oracle and I received warnings in the job log.
Oracle should be running in backup mode, else I should receive more warnings or error msgs.

And we are using this PStools.exe to help us write bat script on bkup server that communicates with the clients.
However, this PStools doesn't support *nix machines.

I know the meaning of cold bkup is to bkup the database without any users using it
But does this include rebooting of the server(machine)?
