installing an OEM hdd
I know that OEM drives don't come with installation instructions or mounting equipment or cables or anything like that but do they come with installation software on a cd or floppy or anything? reinstalling 98SE in safe mode
hello, I am trying to restore "shell.com" in my 98se machine. I was told that if I delete all of the temp cache and recycle bin stuff and then reinstall, not format, but reinstall the O/S in safe mode. The problem is that I can't get my 98 setup disk to run in safe mode. I also...- userx47

virus deleted shell.com....help
hello, I had a virus and I ran AVG antivirus and I guess it cleaned everything out. But now when I try to open a program a browse box pops up and says that it can't find "shell.com". I was wondering if there was any way to restore it without reformatting my hard drive. thanks- userx47
