I am currently troubleshooting this issue. our company (NT domain) merged with a new comany (AD). We are not in a mixed mode environment, we are still two completely seperate environments/domains. There are no trusts established yet.

Is it possible to seport the WINS db to a text file in an NT domain? I know I can back it up, but I couldn't open the backup in access like I planned. Is there a freeware utility or easy way to get this done? Thanks in advance for any help, Sarah
I have three servers that are no longer on the network. All three still show up in SMS as logon points. How do I remove them? When I am installing new clients, it will try to connect to them and fail.

I have a full backup from a db called 'A', which has been deleted. I tried to create a new db and call it 'A' and load in the backup. I get an error telling me that they aren't the same and it stops the restore. Any idea how to do this?
