We're using ePO to distribute a repository list. It seems that even though it gets the list, it still selects only the main repository.

Acts like I've got AP Isolation, but the setting is off

I've got 6 Clients (9x\me\xp\osx) connecting to a WRT54GS. All can connect to the Internet fine. However, peer-to-peer access is very limited and shakey. At best, any one PC can ping one other, but thats it. You might be able to see one other PC in the workgroup, but that's it. So it looks...

Pop before SMTP in Outlook 2000

I've got an web host that requires logging into the POP server before the SMTP server, however Outlook 2000 does it the other way around by default. Apparently news versions of Outlook have an option to swap these but 2000 does not. Anyone found a way around this?

We are running into a problem attempting to open or save files through the Word/Excel file/open or file/SaveAs menu into two particular directories on our server. When you switch to the directories in question, the dialog will freeze while showing the list. We removed some empty directories...

    Spooler service not starting

The spooler service on an NT4SP6 PC is set to automatic. The service doesn't start on start-up and no error msgs appear in the event log. I can start the process manually fine without error. Basically it acts as though the service is set to manual, however it is set to automatic. I've tried...

    Netlogon disabled but not?

I have an NT 4 workstation which was logging into the workstation and into Novell. I've added it to the domain, however it will not login. Investigation shows that the Netlogon service isn't starting. On attempting to start the service it tells me that the service is disabled, however it...

Need to create a new record in a table using known values

I've got values in variables in my code. I want to append a record to a table using these values. I'm not using any recordsets. This is all running in Access 2000 and I'm calling the tables directly. Forgive me, I am new at this. Thanks!

We've been sold! I have to split our organisation

My division was sold to form a separate company. In our organisation, we have four sites each with one server. The new company consists of 9 offices throughout the US. I've moved the users around so that all my users are on my server. I've also registered a new domain and changes the SMTP...

I've got a Director who wants to access her Exchange mailbox from the road using a handheld. I could have her dial into an ISP or RAS here. Is there such a solution already created? Thanks

IMS outbound queueing. Can't find reason.

I'm queueing messages for a particular domain in my IMS on Exchange 5.5 SP3. I've contacted them and they have recently(Sat) changed the IP address of thier server. However, I am resolving the MX record properly. I can ping thier mail server from mine. Any ideas? Where should I look next?

Can I route based on subnet and port?

We've recently added a frame relay line to a business partner, but now we are unable to access thier website. They use private IPs, but we use real world. I have to assume that we can't get the pages because we're going out over our ISP, but the response is coming back over FR. Does this...

Sample config for T1 Internet access using Cisco 2621

I've just had installed a T1 internet circuit. My ISP gave me an IP subnet and the IP address to use for the gateway. We're using real world IP addresses internally so I'm not worried about NAT just yet. We'll be going to a private scheme soon and I'll configure it later. I'm just not sure...
