    Extreme large page - IE post processing?

    I have a extremely large web page being served to the client - about 5.5MB. Obviously takes a while to render but my confusion is why IE (using ie6) takes so long if you then go to another page. Even something unrelated like google. If I have the Task manager open when I try to go to another...
