Another DirectX problem
I have been trying to run a program that wishes to have DX 8.1. I have DX 9, and I know that there are problems between G cards and DX 9 but the program says that DX 8.1 isn't installed even when I reinstall DX 8.1 that comes on the disk! The program wont run and I'm stuck (again!) any help on...- dunka

Dos startup sequence
In formating a drive, or attempting to, I somehow placed a small program to run in the dos part of my computers startup sequence. It now runs each time I starup my computer, it isn't hurting anything and it wouldn't be a real problem if it stayed there but I don't want it there! It's annoying...- dunka

Scan disk error
For the last few months my scan disk hasn't been working. Everytime i try to scan a drive it causes an error which crashes my computer. when I start the computer again, only way is to reset!, the blue screen saying windows wasn't shut down properly comes up and I let it run since this is a scan...- dunka
