Has anyone successfully built an Apache web server with SSL, PHP, MySQL, and Nessus on a system with RedHat 8? I am attempting to build this system in order to pipe Nessus scans into a MySQL database and access it via the Apache web server.
Thanks in advance for the one who answers this one...
I'm attempting to install MS Project 2000 onto my system and during the actual install process I receive an error to ensure I have access to the directory of C:\WINNT\Fonts\BATANG.TTF
Does anyone know what's going own?
Thanks,

Could the same bug in Windows 2000 Service Pack 3 that causes errors in reading remote services on some firewalls have anything to do with aborting backups?
Thanks,
Here's the situation - the client is trying to use the verify and/or recover command in nwadmin.exe in Windows. Receives a pop-up window stating "Use commandline recover for Unix directed recovery". This is when the client attempts to verify a Windows backup. Why is NW stating that...
My client has Legato running on Solaris 8 and is trying to manage the backups from Unix systems and Windows systems from a Windows box. Is this possible? When he goes to view the Unix backups, he is receiving an error code of "unix directives" and it cannot be read.
Thanks,
I know we've discussed this in a previous question, but I believe this should constitute a different query.
My client is stating that MySQL is not the problem due to the DB being run on the D:\ drive. However, he is trying to run a backup with the following parameters:
SYSTEM_STATE
SYSTEM_DB...
Does anyone know if there is a MySQL Module for NW? Or does anyone know what the pre-command to shutdown the MySQL services is for savepnpc?
I don't think the client realizes that with MySQL running that the Openfile backup will abort.
Any help in the right direction will be appreciated.
Thanks,
I have one server that is a MySQL server that makes constant changes to a few select files on the system. Would this prevent the backup from occurring? And if so, how does one changing this senerio?
Thanks,
I'm using #!/bin/csh shell and the 'if' statements are formatted in the following fashion:

I'm loosing what little hair I have left - the backups are doing fine, however, when the NetWorker wants to save the index of the backup, it requests the Default volume. Does one have to label an 'Index' volume?
My hair will thank you.
Client has a Sun L1000 - 1 drive - 30 tape slots. Is the device /dev/rmt/0cbn considered the "drive" or the first tape slot for the drive? In other words - if I added the following sequence: 1cbn, 2cbn,...30cbn would that denote the tape slots for the Jukebox? Or is it that within...
Is there a config file in Networker that one can copy and review offsite in order to get a second set of eyes to verify the settings?
The client is at one location and we would like to have the configs sent to us for inspection.
Thanks,
The clients are backing up to the NetWorker - the Volumes are labeled - the Pools defined - the Groups defined - the available slots=29 - tapes read via bar code - all backups going to the first tape in the first slot.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
Has anyone ever heard of the NetWorker daemons crashing a SunFire box? I don't believe it could have, however I need some back up info before going before a client to let them know that bringing their system backup after the in-house engineers couldn't accomplish a console login and fix the...
We had our SunFire 280R go down for no apparent reason and need help in establishing the console connection. Is there any odd connection port or terminal setting required to get in?
Thanks,
I'm not using any of the Default Pools, Volumes, Groups and when I kick off one of the other Groups, i.e. Windows, Unix, etc. I get the following message:
"media event cleared: Waiting for 1 writable volumes to backup pool 'Default' tape(s) on <server>.
Any ideas?
Thanks,
I'm sure this is out there within the questions, but I am unable to see it, so here it is.
First, the specifics - NetWorker 6.1.3, Sun L1000 jukebox w/ 1 device, 30 slots of DLT IV tapes/ 1 cleaner, 4 Unix clients, 6 Windows clients.
Second, the situation/question - client wants to do a full...
My client is installing a Legato NetWorker 6.1.3 using a Sun L1000 tape library with 30 slots. My question is what is the best practice on conducting full weekly backups with daily incrementals and having the full backup copied to a different tape for offsite storage. Is cloning the answer...
