    hdd broke ?

    my hdd just seems to make a swishing noise and when ive tried using dos programs to correct any corrupt sectors, it fails to do so. ive tried deleting partitions and recreating them and formatting etc, but nothing is working..just makes a swishing noise and does fcuk all. : any thoughts ?
