Problems connecting 2nd IDE drive
I have a sytem with an IDE drive, from which i boot, and an extra sata drive. I came by another IDE drive that I would like to connect, but when i do so the system can't find either of the IDE drives and won't boot. However, if I only connect (any) one of them it is found and i can boot from it...- 18821

connecting a new power supply
Hi. My brother blew up my power supply box (?) and now I have to replace it. Does anyone know whether all power supplies are standardized, i.e. if I can safely connect the new one to my mobo without worrying about rearranging the tiny cords in the white plastic connector? Thankful for any advice.- 18821

total boot failure
My computer makes some beeps at startup, the fans are running and the lights are flashing as usual. But my screen is all black.
