I'm having some serious trouble with the Windows Installer application. I tried to load Microsoft Money 2002 (full) over an existing (limited) version that was on an eMachine running Windows XP Home.

I cannot open ".exe" files that are sent to my Outlook account. I understand this is a security setting, but I need to open this file -- I know who it is from.
Does anyone know the path and what I need to change in order to open ".exe" files?

I just switched from a dial-up connection to DSL. My POP3 and SMTP were working fine, but now that I have switched to DSL I cannot send messages and continue to receive SMTP errors.
Is there any type of setting that I need to make when switching from dial-up to DSL?

My computer crashed (windows 2000), and backed up most of my files in a ".bak" folder, but I have not been able to locate any of my outlook e-mails.
What is the file extension (for outlook e-mails) I should be searching for? Any ideas where windows would have saved these to?

I cannot get my file links (ex. file://fil-nw02-08/mmodoc/mmo/personnel/SC_phonelist.doc) to work within my ".js" drop down menu. It works fine in IE, and works within Netscape when web site resides on a file server...once I placed site on web server...

I have been told by several people that when they are trying to email me it bounces back as undeliverable. Yet, I receive my emails just fine. Any ideas -- did I configure something incorrectly when I setup my POP3 and SMTP email servers ?
