How can I put 2 lines on a 8400 phone? We currently have an analog desk phone. We want to add a direct line and keep the current line using an 8400 series phone. Our wiring guy will make the jack digital, for a multi line phone. Do I use the digital port for 1 line, and make the other port x...
We are Definity G3si V11, and have about 5 8400 series phones, with brdg-appr to the same number. When that number is called, the phones all blink at that appearance, until someone answers. Then the appearance light is solid.
If someone accidentally hits that solid appearance button, they...
I'm working with an 8410D, playing with the buttons and trying to please the user. If the busy-ind button can answer the primary extensions calls, transfer the calls, and even be used to speed dial the primary extension, why use brdg-appr? Am I missing something?
I put 4 busy-ind buttons on an 8410B. If you touch one of the buttons, you can hear the conversation on that line. What can I do to mute this so that it still indicates busy, but you won't be able to hear the conversation if you hit the busy-ind button.
I am trying to program a button to transfer a call to audix.
In my abbreviated dialcode I have 4507~p~p~p~p1003# where 4507 is the transfer number to audix and 1003 is the extension. It is not working. It rings but audix is not picking up. I can't program the telephone set. We are G3I v11...
We have a G3si r11 and old Definity Audix. When the super's phone rings and he's not there, it rings in the nurse station and then goes to his audix (cov path). However, when ringing in the nurse station, the person would pick it up and transfer to the super's extension, and instead of going to...
Gang:
We have a G3SI, V11, Definity Audix. Our CFO asked if he can be beeped when his station is called and he is not on the premises. Currently, his calls are directed to his station, then to his secretary, and then to his audix. Our version of audix does not let me transfer out to dial the...
Our software vendor has required us to do SQL database maintenance with their latest software release. It's either pay them or do it ourselves. The maintenance calls for identifying and re-indexing the tables and recreating the views twice a month (normal SQL database maintenance).
There is no...
Hey Gang,
We have a Definity G3si, Release 11 software. The next time we purchase a digital circuit card, should we go with the older, cheaper TN754B, or the newer TN2224B. We are not planning to expand much and don't have any 6400 series phones. We do have a number of 8400 series. Just...
We have a Definity G3i R11. Is there any way to install an analog phone, so that when a user picks up the handset, it will automatically dial a specific extension. The extension would be on a 7410 10 appearance digital phone. The digital phone would also need to be able to call the analog...
When setting up a Win 2000 PC to replace an older pc I am experiencing a network problem. After loggin in as administrator, I tried setting up the user on our NT network. I'm getting the error message in the subject. Anyone have any experience with this error message? I have a registry editor...
We are currently paying 5.2 cents a minute for long distance and local toll calls. Our contract will be up later this year. Should we push hard to get a better rate? I thought 5.2 cents was pretty good a couple of years ago. We have about 475 stations. Any thoughts or comments?
We have a G3SI. Our software is version R11. What is the best way to block the users from dialing *69 (return call) and incurring charges on our phone bill. Thanks.
We have 5 7410 phones in one room. When the agents are busy, they sometimes transfer calls and the call will just stay on their phone. For a typical station, I have three appearances of that station and 2 bridged appearances for the other stations in the room. The COR's are all the same...
