I am trying to use the default "Unix standard directives" which includes
<< /tmp >>
skip: * .?*
but is seems like I am still getting backups of the /tmp directories on all my unix hosts.
Any suggestions as to what can be causing the problem.
When I backup Virtual Oracle servers the Virtual client I created does not show any savesets. It appears that the backups write all the saveset data to the physical name. I am concerned that I will not be able to restore.
using the following command.
#mminfo -av -r "volume,state,pool,location'
I can get a good report, but lately it seems I need also to know the expiration date of each volume. I know how to get this info using the following:
#mminfo -m
I would like to have all this info in one report using...
I am attempting to delete multiple volume from the Media database, and would like to create a script to automate this process. instead of typing every volume name and nsrmm -dy a hundred times.
