I don't think this is possible but:-
I have a directory containing a number of files and user A has full access to all of them, we need user B to have full access to just one file and no access to any of the others (not even read access) and also no access to any new files that are created...
We are currently running Exchange 2010 and will be installing TMG 2010 in the near future to provide us with a secure OWA. We have now purchased another company still running Exchange 2003, we have a 2 way trust between the 2 domains.
Will we be able to configure TMG to provide OWA to both...
We have 2 domains London and Dublin with a trust between them, only the london domain is running exchange. In Exchange 2003 I was able to create a mailbox and select an account from the dublin domain and make it the external associated account for that mailbox, the dublin user was then able to...
We currently run Exchange 2010 + rollup 1, I notice that rollups 2 - 4 are available for this and also SP1 and rollup 1 for SP1. What combination should be installed to get an upto date installation. I would have thought SP1 and then the update rollup for this.

Hi I have installed the RTM version on 2 servers in different sites and have configured the DAG and database copies successfully. I can mount the database on both servers and when I shut the primary exchange server down the database is mounted automatically on the 2nd server, so far so good...
We currently have a 6509 with 2 x Sup720-3B supervisors and a mixture of X6748-GE-TX and X6148-GE-45AF blades. If we were to buy another 6509 chassis would we just have to replace the supervisors with Sup720-10G-3B modules to enable VSS?

I'm puzzled, I know that Exchange standard has a limit of 16Gb for the private information store. However one of our servers stopped delivering email yesterday because this limit was reached. What confuses me is 1 hour earlier in the event viewer there was a message stating that the private info...
We've had a lot of these fail in comparison to the previous Ultra3 and Ultra2 disks. Has anyone else noticed the same or have we just been unlucky?

last week we started getting the following error messages though the data still appears to be backing up OK (test restore was...
Hi, we are buying a new server with 6 hot plug disks and I was wondering what was the recommended configuration for this. I was thinking of 2 x 18Gb as RAID 1 for the OS + pagefile and 4 x 72Gb RAID 5 for the database. Any thoughts as to where the log files should be stored?
All ideas welcome...
