We've got a strange DNS rewrite issue, we are upgrading from pix 6.3 firewalls ( old 515e's ) to new Cisco ASA 5540
running 7.08.

But does anyone know of any companies that may be in need of a network engineer with experience of Extreme Black Diamonds and Cisco in the near future ??
Anyone else experienced lock up problems on the gig cards on the extremes ( in our case a G12SXi the MTRJ one) card will stop forwarding traffic to ports, but you can still resolve the mac address to the correct port. Reseting the offeding slot fixes the problem, but its a bit wierd ??
