Does anyone know if Sharepoint 2007 will integrate with other directory services products besides Active Directory?

There is a 2TB vdisk size limit on the EVA5000s. My question is what do you do if you need to present more that 2TB as a single volume? We need to present to users more than 3TB of space as a single volume. Could we span the two Vdisks thru Windows or is DFS our best option? Any ideas?
