When I click on links to TIF files while browsing in IE6, it opens them using the Kodak plug-in within IE. I want TIF files to default to open in the full Kodak Imaging program. How do I achieve this?
When opening a TIF file by clicking a link in the IE browser the file opens in the browser window, however I want it to use Kodak Imaging software by default (it is actually using this but within the browser - I want it to use the native software).
Any ideas?
How would I go about associating Notes Mail with the File > Send To > Mail Recipient command? At the moment it is greyed out, presumably because Outlook is not installed and Word XP doesn't recognise Notes as the mail client.
Thanks
How do I go about giving a user rights to add a workstation to a domain? I don't want the user to be an Admin or do anything more complex than simply joining the WS to the domain.
Is it possible to override this dialog box (which appears when running an EXE as a non-Admin user) by using a switch at the command line e.g. SETUP /X or can it only be disabled by modifying the registry?
Even with Driver Signing switched to 'Ignore' a driver for the dell Touchpad still pops up a warning message. Checked the relevant reg keys and all looks ok. No policy is in place on the machine.
Any ideas?
When I try to convert my drive drom a basic disk to a dynamic disk I get an error saying there isn't enough free disk space to complete the operation. The drive is 60GB in total, partitioned into C: (20GB) and D: (40GB). C: has only about 2GB in use and D: about the same.
Please bear with me. I'm not a VB Scripter.

When XP clients open files on an NT Server share by double-clicking them in Explorer, the files intermittently open as read-only. This fault does not occur when you go into the app and click File > Open.
SP1A & updates 811492, 810565 & 328170 (which supposedly fixes the problem) are installed...
Do a search on *.SCR on Local Hard Drives (C:;D:) and it returns no results. Do the same search on C:\WINNT\SYSTEM32 and it returns the 22 screen savers, as you would expect.
Why?
Please bear with me I'm not too familiar with this stuff - in fact I'm not even sure if this is the right place for this question but what the hell!

I have created a large document in Word 97 and somehow (I've no idea how) a horizontal line has appeared at about 1/2 inch from the bottom of every page stretching all the way across the page.
I've tried looking at the Footer but I can't highlight the line or delete it from there although it...
