Do you know what the "D:\_AF_ReadOnly" Disk device, 'System Created Mirror of D:\' is for?
It seems that 1/2 my disk space I am using for disk backup is allocated to this 'mirror'.
Can I delete this volume to make the disk space...

Client resource set to back up only system state and system db
Backup fails with error: No such file or directory.

SAP running on Sol 8 .. on archive log mode... due to tight $$ they dont have the hot backup agent, its all done via the DBA's homegrown script. Bacup gets going but SLOW! So far errors seen are:

IBM says un-install the st driver for the devices, veritas says install and conifure the st and its own sg driver.
Who's right? Any ideas?
Our retention period is 3 weeks, they want a restore from 2 months ago. I know i have to scann the tapes in to restore the indexes, but how do i find out what volumes to scann?
PS: No nwadmin gui available, command line only.
