XP occassionally changes My Documents target folder
Using Active Directory, all our users have a folder in a Users directory on our Win Server 2003 file server (ie \\server\Users\jsmith). The folder is mapped and the "My Documents" folder on our users' PCs points to that mapping. Occassionally, when our XP users logon, the mapping has changed...- animal74

Share printer from other machine besides print server
My Windows NT 4.0 print server has been flakey of late, "crashing" randomly so that a manual reboot is the only solution. Print server randomly crashing
I have an NT 4.0 print server that has been randomly "crashing". It approximately happens once a month at any time of day (usually the most inopportune times!). When I find it - the machine is on but the screen is black. A manual shutdown/reboot solves it and it runs fine until next time...- animal74
