Incoming telephone calls starts up the PC
I have windows XP Home Edition. I end my work by turning off the PC via the start bar and the "turn off computer" signs. If the phone rings the PC switches on. To get round this I have to swich the power off at the wall. Any suggestion on how to thwart this phantom switch-ons.- lannaz

unable to install a ethernet adapter
Problems ocurred on trying to install a fast ethernet adapter on a PC with windows 98se. It might have been that 2 devices shared the same IRQ but anyway the installation did not proceed smoothly. No Wizard function in Access 2000
I use Microsoft Office Professional 2000 and when I try to create a table, query, report etc in Access, using the wizard fuction, nothing happens.
