Problem in Excel with numeric keypad and + sign
In any cell in a new or existing spreadsheet, If you add 9+9+9 and hit enter, what you see occur is: 9=9=9 and the cell displays 'FALSE' instead of 27 which is what we generally are accustomed to seeing in Excel. format changes from accounting to fraction to my frustration!
If I enter +1200/200 and hit enter in a cell. Then go format the same cell as 'accounting' (2,$) Then I go back to the cell and enter +1400/2000 and hit enter the cell format changes to fraction automatically. This is a new manifestation and I don't know what has caused the change. Please assist...- isfco
