    Remote Agent will not Intitialize

    I have 5 Windows NT4 Terminal servers running Citrix 1.8 that I'm backing up over the wire to library using Back Exec 8.6 remote agents. For some reason the Remote agent on those servers will not intitialize. The backup still runs but without the assistance of the agent. Does anyone know the trick?

    Arcserve v9 not writing to activity log

    I have Arcserve v9 (and the backup agent for Excahnge) on a Windows 2k server. The backup seems to complete successfully according to the "Last Result" in the job queue and the fact that Exchange truncates the transaction logs.     Database Engine

    In Arcserve 2000 I was attempting to initialize the databases. The job and tape engine stopped as they should but the database enigine hung in stopping mode. It will not completely stop and it will not restart. Trying to stop and start the server's Acserve services didn't produce any results...

    Media Expiration date option

    In Arcserve 7 for Netware even after erasing the media the option to change the expiration date for the tape is unavailable. What step am I missing?
