    I just installed a new Seagate 40GB Baracudda IV anf partitioned it and formatted it in windoes98. It only recognizes 2GB. How do I get it to recognize the whole 40GB?

    How do you set up a new HD without any special disks?

    I just recently purchased a Seagate 7200rpm 40GB Baracudda IV. It didn't come with any disks, and I don't know how to set it up to read and write to. The jumper has already been set to slave. The BIOS knows that there is something there, but nothing shows up in windows98. Please help

    problem during bootup....

    i get a message "interface board or cd-rom drive is not ready" insure that drive power is on and drive cables correctly attached. But, all of the wires are correctly attached. I don't know what to do.

    problems with new motherboard

    I just recently purchased an ASUS A7N266-VM motherboard. When i connected everything and went to turn on the power, nothing happened. The LED on the motherboad lights up though. Also, the power supply fan does not come on, but i know its not the power supply becuase i tried it with the old power...
