    Netmasks in Solaris 10

    I have a client running Sol 10. Netmasks file in /etc and /inet both show a 16 bit mask which is correct. But when I run ifconfig -a it shows that adapter using a 8 bit mask. Where is ifconfig pulling the 8 bit from? Am I missing a file somewhere? Thanks,
