    All drive letters mapped

    I have a strange problem occuring on two of about 50 networked machines. For some reason, all the drive letters appear to be in use. If you click on a drive letter that was not mapped or does not represent actual hardware, you get an error 'A device attached to the system is not functioning'...

    I'm trying to pull 100 random records from a table of 1000 (Access) using DAO. I can get it to work in Access using a funcion call within the SQL statement but it wont work in VB6. I get a function undefined error. Any suggestions ?
