I recently upgraded from w98 to 2000 and have a problem with Outlook Express. I can receive e-mails, but every time I try and send one I get an error message and I cannot access my Address Book either to import my contacts.
I am probably missing out on something basis - any info would be...
I am told that even when cleared from the recycle bin (Win 98SE) traces still remain of file contents on my PC. I think there is a way of permanently getting rid of these 'deleted' files. Can anyone help please.

My OS is Win98SE. Usually older Win95 cdroms run ok. I have one which comes up with "This prog has performed an illegal op - invalid page fault... at ...." - it then lists registers. Anyone got any ideas please?

Another problem ! Neither of my cdroms will autorun. I have tried device manager, cd, properties, setiings, and the autorun notification and dma boxes are ticked. Is there anything else I can try pse.
