Anyone know of a (reasonably priced) program for Exchange server that can remove attachments from email and replace them with a link or stub? I have seen products from C2C & Sherpa. Anybody used these or others for this purpose?
Thanks

I am looking to get an ISDN line to connect 2 companies for the purpose of sending files (securely). What cheap hardware is good for connecting the ISDN line to a computer. I don't have a router here, so getting a Cisco card is not an option! There are some USB connected devices on the market -...
I have an SBS 2003 server currently set up with 4 x 36GB disks in a single (hardware based) RAID 5 array. The Exchange server is heavily used and we are also running low on disk space. I am thinking of buying 6 disks (maximum the server will take) and setting up the RAID again. Any idea what...
I want to schedule a daily differential backup of a database such that I keep the last 3 backups. (ie The file xyz.bak would contain today's, yesterday's & the day before's differential backup). What is the best way of doing this? If I select 'Append to media' I don't seem to be able to set a...
I'm running Exchange 2003 SP2 (build 7638.2).
I want some people to be able to send out an email coming from an address like 'sales@domain.com'. I have tried setting up an account and giving people Send As permission but it doesn't seem to work. When the user selects the 'sales' account to...
I have 2 domains names and so 2 email addresses (rg@domain1.com & rg@domain2.com) - both fed to an Exchange server. Is it possible to create a rule in Outlook that sends email sent to domain2 to a specified folder? Or is there any other way apart from Outlook rules to differentiate the email...
Anyone know an easy way to copy files from subdirectories without copying the subdirectory structure? ie put all the copied files into one directory.
Ideally I would like to specify files modified within the past day.
Does anyone know a good company that offers an online backup service? (UK based) I want to have a realtime backup of my 3 windows servers (Exchange, SQL & file server).

I'm trying to understand Small Business Server 2000 licencing. According to MS you can have as many user accounts as you like but you are limited to 50 computers. Does this mean that a Client Access Licence (CAL) refers to a machine not a user?
What machines require a CAL? MS define it as...
I've just set up some new (Dell) PCs running XP Pro with all the latest patches, except XP SP2. I then installed Office 2002 (both with and without all the Office patches). I set Outlook up to connect to an Exchange 2000 server, but it seems to crash when I try to access the global address...
I am trying to run XP's System Monitor (perfmon.exe) on Windows XP Pro SP1 but the data does not update. I have added a few counters (such as % Processor Time) and set them to update every second, but no joy! I am an admin of the box so it's not a permission problem. I also can get performance...
I have a Sandisk Cruzer Mini 256 MB. It is a USB2 device connected to a USB2 port on my PC. My PC runs XP SP1 with the latest USB drivers and MS patches. What is the expected transfer speed of such a device? I am finding that copying files from PC to thumbdrive is slow (around 1400KB per sec)...
I have a windows PC connected to an ADSL router. To connect to the internet the router performs NATing and acts as a DHCP server. So windows is simply set to DHCP with no other settings (and no client software etc).
I have just set up a PC with RedHat 8 and am trying to connect to the same...
