I need a way to browse a web server on my Network from the internet (to make sure all links, external DNS entries, and NAT port forwarding is working).
There use to be several free anonymous web browsers out there, but all the ones I knew about are either gone or are no longer free.
So what I...

But now I have a...
I am looking at setting up a new Mailing List manager/server. In the past I have always used ListServ on NT, but I am considering using FreeBSD this time to help conserve $$$.
I have narrowed the list software down to
Majordomo, Listmanager, and Listar.
I need something that is fairly easy...
I have a server set up with Apache 1.3.20 along with several other mods. I was just asked to add SSL to this server, but I dont want to have to recompile everything again. Is it possible to add mod_ssl as a DSO without having to recompile Apache again?
Tek-Tips does not have a DNS forum ... so I figured that I would ask this question here.
Getting a reliable ISP in my area has been quite a task. I currently have three ISPs that feed different parts of my server farm Internet connection (servers 1-5 go through ISP1, 6-8 ISP2, 9&10 through...
Has anyone tried to run FreeBSD (non-GUI) on a AMD Athlon/Duron system? Was there any issues?
I am looking at adding another server to my rack and someone offered me an Athlon/Duron motherboard with a Promise ATA RAID for a pretty good price. I know the Promise chipset is supported, but cant...
Is there a way to search/query the AD for a username (or list of usernames) that match search criteria (phone number, description, etc) in VBS/ADSI?

I have never used FreeBSD to handle email before, so I am a little lost on exactly what to use.
Here is my situation:

I am starting to gather information on wether or not one of our divisions should be switched over to a terminal server. One of the questions that I have not been able to obtain from any of the MS whitepapers is if the client's have access to local media. Several of the users in this division...

Does anyone know how will this effect us as FreeBSD users and will this delay the future release of version 4.3 that was scheduled sometime this month?
I am the LAN admin at a small college. A professor wants to use Photoshop (along with several other Adobe products) in his class. There will only be 24 students using these products.
My question is .... does Adobe have a floating license edition like they did with FramMaker?
I was talking to another FreeBSD user the other day and he mentioned a ported app that allowed you to create multiple "virtual" servers on a BSD box. Each virtual server binds to an IP address and runs as a seperate server, allowing you to give root access to a user without...
I am contemplating installing mod_log_mysql on one of my servers for access logs. Has anyone installed this module? Did it work correctly? How bad did it effect the server performance?
I have never installed the linux compatibility on a any of my FreeBSD boxes (mostly in fear that it would effect the performance). But I have now run across a need to do so with IBM's DB2 Connect ADO. Does installing the linux compatibility effect FreeBSD's server performance at all?
Anyone know of tutorials, information, etc. on connecting PHP to an IBM AS400 DB2 server. I know that there is the with-ibm-db2 option in the compile configuration, so PHP supports it, I am just having troubles finding any additional information on how this is accomplished.
Thanks
