    Notepad won't load; how to restore?

    I am embarrased to admit that I cannot remember how to restore (reinstall) notepad on a Win98 PC. It was damaged by the KLEZ virus infection, which is now cleaned. However, anytime I try to open an email attachment which calls for Notepad i get an error message. Any help available?
