    trouble connecting to sites reliably

    I have two pcs running xp connected to a netgear router and a dsl provider. I use firefox on one and IE on the other. Until recently I had no problems clicking a link and being connected to the desired webpage. Sometimes both machines don't connect to the webpage on the first click but...

    ipconfig command

    I can't seem to access www.numion.com. If I do a ipconfig /flushdns followed by ipconfig /displaydns I see two entries related to www.numion.com. and that's about all that's left after the flush. Why is this the only real entry left in dns cache after the flush. I suspect the entry is wrong...

    synchronizing hangs

    mobsync works okay the first time it's run but hangs on subsequent attempts. If I delete the page it's updating in the temp internet files and re-run it works okay. I tried the IE 6 repair option but that didn't help.
