I'm having an infuriating problem with Win2K on a DELL Inspiron 8000 laptop.
Windows always boots up in a small screen in the middle of the monitor (centered output).
Every time I switch the machine on I have to go to monitor settings, select advacned, twin view, output device, screen...
Can anyone tell me the cure for the infuriating bug which causes the mouse pointer to suddently, without warning, turn into a square, about 1.5x1.5cm, which I can best discribe as looking like a the 'snow' interferance on an un-tuned TV screen?
